For a fresher, in depth technical knowledge in C is very much essential, as we have to face technical questions on C in almost all of campus interviews. To be technically sound in C, only reading the text book is not enough as we have to face a specific type of questions which we don’t get in text books. Actually the matter is that text books help us to develop the concept. And to be able to answer the technical questions we need constant practices, after building a crystal clear concept. Although a number of books are available in market for this purpose but I have a number of websites where we can get umpteen technical conceptual questions with solutions (Solutions are not available in some case) for practicing. Probability is a part of Statistics that is a specific branch of Mathematics. We use probability to determine the degree of certainty and the uncertainty of a particular event.
Actually it is nothing but a set of predefined mathematical principles and techniques that help us to establish the probability of an event. Probability can be used to solve the real life problems. Let’s have a look on an analogy. Consider we have to toss a coin that has two sides head and tail. You have to call either head or tail. You are determined to call head. Do you know, what is the probability of your win? It is very simple to determine. Probability of your win simply means the probability of getting head. According to the formula it is 0.5.
Thus, learning probability can be a great fun as it is very easy to learn and applicable to real life problems. Practicing probability helps us to develop logical thinking that is very important in real life and that is why you will find it in the syllabuses of almost all competitive examinations. If you are interested then you can get lots of study materials from various websites. Some popular websites where you can get tutorials for probability are given below:
